Surf Casting Rods: These saltwater fishing rods tend to be a little heavier and longer than inland rods so that they can cast past the breaking surf. The action also tends to be a bit slower to compensate for the turbulence caused by the incoming waves and undertow.
Tolling Rods: These are seriously heavy rods usually used in deep sea fishing. They are large are very strong and are enable you to catch even the larger fish in the sea.
It might be that you already have the right fishing rod, but it’s old and out of shape. Luckily, that’s no problem as there are many ways how to rebuild your rods. If you want to be really creative, you can even produce your own rods from scratch.
